Emily Kloo, LCSW
Emily is a licensed clinical social worker who earned her master’s degree from The University of Connecticut School of Social Work. Emily has worked in a variety of outpatient clinic settings conducting individual, family and group therapy. Emily has worked with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, anger, interpersonal challenges, grief, chronic/pain illness, low self-esteem, trauma, stress and chemical dependency. She enjoys working collaboratively with people to identify their goals and begin to take steps towards them. She uses a person-centered, strengths-based approach and utilizes interventions in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy and Motivational Interviewing. Emily’s goal is to provide a safe, supportive and non-judgmental space for your self-exploration and healing.
