Emily Tarjick, LMSW
Emily received her master’s degree in social worker at Westfield State University and has significant experience working with adults and adolescents coping with anxiety, depression, grief and loss, anger, low self-esteem, post-traumatic stress and other mental health conditions. Emily also has experience working with children and adults who have been adopted as well as those in the foster care system and their respective families. Emily’s training and educational background includes: Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy, Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TFCBT), and National Mental Health Adoption Competency Trained (NTI), in addition to other treatment modalities. Emily utilizes a person-centered, strength-based approach, and aims to provide a therapeutic space filled with compassion, validation and healing.
