Hilary Berger, EdD, LPC
Dr. Hilary Berger is a licensed professional counselor who received her doctorate in education from Columbia University and her masters in counseling from Hofstra University. In providing psychotherapy to clients of all ages and stages, Dr. Berger works to create a safe and inviting therapeutic environment. She specializes in counseling women as she helps them navigate challenges associated with career and/or motherhood, intimacy, marriage or divorce. Dr. Berger also has expertise in providing therapy to college students, graduate students, and young professionals coping with anxiety and depression and identity issues. For decades, she has drawn from multiple psychotherapy techniques including humanistic counseling, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness-based cognitive therapy, rational emotive and behavioral therapy (REBT) in her work with clients. Dr. Berger helps individuals overcome fear and self-doubt, find self-acceptance and self-compassion, build resilience and access their authentic voice, enabling them to achieve an improved quality of life and stronger relationships across the lifespan.
