Kate Spring, LPC
Kate is a licensed professional counselor and has worked in the field of counseling for over 10 years, supporting adolescents, young adults, student athletes and their families. Kate earned her master’s degree from Springfield College, specializing in art therapy counseling. Kate has expertise in the areas of chemical dependency, post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), co-occurring difficulties, generalized and specific anxieties, depression and stress management. She uses a strength-based approach to facilitate change, utilizing the approaches of expressive arts, motivational interviewing/stages of change, and cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT). Kate’s goal is to provide a non-judgmental, encouraging and creative therapeutic environment to support client growth and mental well-being.
