Lauren Jackson, LMSW

Lauren is a licensed social worker (LMSW) who earned her master’s degree at the University of Saint Joseph school of social work. She has worked in various clinical settings including schools, clinical treatment centers, domestic violence shelters, and extended-day treatment programs. Lauren has provided care and treatment for individuals across the lifespan experiencing mental health symptoms. She is skilled in treating depression, anxiety, attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder, interpersonal/family challenges, and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). Lauren has a specialization in counseling individuals living with a serious illness and those who are coping with grief and loss. She utilizes person-centered and strength-based clinical interventions including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy (TF-CBT), motivational interviewing, and mindfulness techniques. Whether working with teens or adults, Lauren’s goal is to create a safe and open environment where individuals can feel empowered to tell their stories. Lauren helps individuals identify and process their thoughts and feelings and gain the necessary coping skills and tools for personal healing.
