Michele is a licensed professional counselor who earned her master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Northern Vermont University. Because of her passion for holistic health, Michele also holds a master’s degree in Integrative Health and Healing from the Graduate Institute where she learned about modalities related to mind-body-spirit wellness. Michele has experience working with older adolescents and adults who are struggling with anxiety and mood disorders, trauma and overall life challenges and transitions. She also helps people seeking support related to the mind-body connection and spirituality. Michele utilizes cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) in the context of a calm, non-judgmental atmosphere. She helps her clients meet their goals by teaching coping skills/wellness strategies, providing tools to regulate emotions and by fostering increased self-awareness. Michele’s approach is client-centered, meaning she meets her clients with positive regard, empathetic understanding, and genuineness.
