Dana Schmitt, LCSW

My Approach

I strive to provide a safe, calm, and open environment for each client. I approach every client with the intention of understanding their current challenges and helping them identify their goals for treatment. My role as a therapist is to build a therapeutic rapport where clients can feel comfortable discussing the many complex issues in their life. I am able to offer either virtual or in-person sessions.

Specialty Areas

I support adolescents and adults who are suffering from trauma, depression, mood disorders, anxiety, interpersonal challenges, identity exploration, and eating disorders. I have expertise in treating self-harm, passive or intentional suicidal thoughts/plans, group and family/couple's issues.
