Adalicia Ramos, LCSW

Adalicia (Ada) is a bilingual licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) who is fluent in English and Spanish. Ada received her master’s in social work from Springfield College and has worked in a variety of outpatient and trauma clinics. Ada has experience treating adults, adolescents and families coping with anxiety, depression and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), among other conditions. Ada offers various forms of clinical interventions that focus on a person-centered approach and strength-based perspective. Her treatments modalities include: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Child and Family Traumatic Stress Intervention (CF-TSI), Structural Family Therapy and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). Ada’s focus in her work is to support clients in deepening their understanding of themselves and to work with them in developing and achieving their own goals. Ada acknowledges that change can be difficult, and she is works to support her client’s therapeutic process in a safe environment.
