Cynthia Aguilar Wood, LCSW

Cynthia is a licensed clinical social worker who earned her master’s degree at Fordham University’s Graduate School of Social Service. Cynthia has experience providing outpatient therapy as well as being a part of a mobile crisis intervention services team. These experiences include working with individuals who are struggling with day-to-day life pressures, anxiety, depression, difficult family relationships, self-esteem issues, and other mood related disorders. When working with clients, Cynthia utilizes a holistic and systemic approach, focusing not only on symptoms, but also on the person as a whole, and as part of a family unit. She also believes strongly in the impact of collaborative work. Her preferred models for therapy are Systemic, Solution-Focused and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT).
