Sharon Beesley, LCSW
Sharon is a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) who earned her master’s degree at Columbia University’s School of Social Work. She has worked in various schools and hospital/clinic settings treating individuals across the lifespan who are experiencing mental health symptoms including depression, anxiety and interpersonal/family challenges. Sharon has a specialization in counseling individuals living with a serious illness and those who are coping with grief, loss, and bereavement. Sharon uses an integrated approach to treatment, which include cognitive behavioral therapy techniques and mindfulness-based interventions. Whether working with children, teens, or adults, Sharon’s goal is always to create a safe, open environment where individuals can take the time to process their feelings while also gaining skills and tools to cope with their challenges.
