Maryanne Baker, LPCA

My Approach

I am passionate about supporting adults and teens in strengthening their mental health and emotional well-being. My clinical focus includes anxiety, depression, stress, grief, and interpersonal challenges. As an Australian expatriate living in the United States, I also bring an understanding of the emotional complexities that can accompany major life transitions, cultural adjustment, and the navigation of change.

Specialty Areas

I create a therapeutic environment grounded in safety, compassion, and understanding, where clients feel comfortable exploring their thoughts and emotions. I provide a space for meaningful self-reflection and a deeper connection with one’s inner world in a supportive, nonjudgmental setting. Together, we work collaboratively to identify the patterns and challenges that may be maintaining distress, while developing skills and strategies that support both immediate relief and long-term growth and wellbeing.
