Timothy Cormier, LPC
Tim is a licensed professional counselor who earned his master’s degree in counseling psychology at Antioch New England Graduate School. He has worked for over 20 years as a therapist treating a wide variety of clients from different backgrounds. Tim has extensive experience treating adults who are struggling with depression, anxiety, anger management, mania, psychosis, trauma, and challenges associated with interpersonal relationships, gender identity/sexual orientation, addiction/substance abuse and grief/loss. He uses a person-centered approach, primarily utilizing cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing, solution-focused therapy, and dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT) modalities. Tim’s goal is to provide a non-judgmental and trusting therapeutic environment to assist clients in increasing personal insight and gaining the confidence and skills to cope with their struggles and reach their individual goals.
